PRO Notes for the 3rd March 2014

Lotto tickets are now on sale and are available from the usual sellers or any club officer. This is the clubs main fundraiser and your support would be greatly appreciated. The proceeds of this fundraiser go towards the development of underage and senior teams, and maintenance of Nace O Dowd park. Congratulations to St. Attracta's College on qualifying for the Connacht Senior A Final. They will play St Gerald's, Castlebar in the final this Saturday at 1.30pm in Ballina. We wish them the best of luck in the final. The club is well represented by the following players, Stephen Connolly(capt), Eoin McDonagh, Pierce Gorman, Nathan Mullen, Niall O' Dowd, Conor Doyle and Gavin Feely. Our U-16 Team got their league campaign up and running on Sunday last with a defeat against Curry. They play round 2 this Sunday morning at 11am v St Farnans in Nace O'Dowd Park. Our senior team will hope to begin their season this Saturday evening in the Benson Cup v Shamrock Gaels at 4.30pm in Coola. We have a number of fundraising events coming up over the next few weeks. They include our Annual Monster 25 Card Drive on Friday 14th March at 9pm, in St.Nathy's Hall, 400 euro in prizes, plus Raffle. 10 euro admission. Celebrity Jigs n Reels 2014 was launched in O' Grady's Coolaney, on friday night last and will take place in the Sligo Park Hotel on Easter Sunday night, April 20th. We have 24 dancers lined up and it promises to be a great night entertainment. More details in the weeks to come. Congratulations to Louise O' Donnell of St. Nathy' s Club on winning the 2013 All Ireland clubperson of the year award. It is a very well deserved honour.
