Dundalk FC manager Ian Foster felt that the scoreline was “harsh” on his players after they fell to a 3-1 defeat by Bohemians at Dalymount Park on Monday evening, a game where he thought a number of decisions went against his side.
The 34-year-old also admitted that the injury crisis which has ravaged his squad is “very, very difficult” to cope with, but he praised the performance of 18-year-old centre-half Cian Byrne, who put in another solid display having made his league debut at Galway United three days earlier.
