MINORS

The Minors continued their league season and following on opening round defeat they have knuckled down well and followed that up with two impressive victories.  Firstly, a victory at home to amalgamated outfit St. Joseph’s got their previous heavy defeat out of the system.

Last weekend, they made it two win’s on the bounce with a 4-7 to 1-8 victory away to Ballyhaise.  These recent victories have ensured Kingscourt sit towards the top of the table and the hope is that the current level of dedication been shown will ensure the good level of form will continue.

SENIORS

In their final pre-season match, Kingscourt made the trip to Castleblayney to face the Faugh’s.  Again it was a matter of everyone getting a run out.  On a stormy night, the Stars made a bright start but again a number of halftime changes saw the home side emerge victorious.

However, the management will be happy with another tough workout and they will hope to hit the ground running in their promotion quest away to Cootehill on Sunday (9th) at 2pm.
