Last Sunday in perfect conditions,in front of a good crowd Athy 1st team beat Coill Dubh 2/1in Aldridge Park to progress into the next round of the FAI Junior Cup.It was 0/0 at half time thanks to some good goal keeping by both keepers,how ever a very young ,organised and fit Athy team stepped up the pace and ran at them.which resulted in Coill Dubh giving away two penaltys which were scored by Seanie Bradley,well done to all concerned.
