Referee Alan Goring

A beautiful day for soccer today, and the mood stayed the same on the pitch for us at least, I will not single out any-one player for special praise, they all deserve the utmost praise for working the socks off for each other. things were not going well for Duleek unfortunately for them, their team put in a good performance but things would not go right for them at all.
Our goals came and just kept coming, our goal scorer’s today were, (FIRST HALF)Jamie Kirwan at 3mins, Simon Rooney 10mins (A fine header from a Jamie Kirwan short corner to Luke Holohan who crossed for Simon’s head), an unfortunate Own Goal by Duleek for number 3 at 13mins, Adam Mahon with a great strike for number 4 at 18mins, (SECOND HALF) Sean Commons at 26mins, Sorcha Gough at 30mins (and her first goal for Kentstown Rovers) and Adam Mahon for his second goal and our 7th and final goal.
The Referee called an end to the game and Kentstown move on to a league clash on Saturday 19th at Home to Albion Rovers. all support is welcome and again thanks to the parents of the team who turn up every week and scream for our team.
