Last Wednesday Moynalvey lost out 1-12 to 1-7 to Moynalty in the U-16 Summer League Final. On Sunday last Moynalvey gained 2 victories from 2 separate outings, defeating Kilmainhamwood on a 2-14 to 0-11 score line in the A League and defeating Oldcastle 3-11 to 0-10 in the Junior C Championship semi final to set up a final meeting with Na Fianna. Later this evening the Moynalvey ladies take on Dunsany in the semi-final of the Junior Championship at 7:15pm in Moynalvey, while the Moynalvey minors travel to Ashbourne to play Donaghmore Ashbourne for a 6:45pm throw in the championship. Tomorrow evening Moynalvey take on Donaghmore/Ashbourne in the B League at 6:45pm in Moynalvey.
