Under 12 Hurling
On Friday evening last our under 12 hurlers defeated Grangemockler-Ballyneale by 5-6 to 0-0 in our first game of the championship. The team was: Danny Broderick, Jack Cleere, Ryan Crannitch, Luke Fox, Aidan Fitzgerald, Eoin Fitzgerald, Bill Cuddihy, Evan White, Cian Crannitch, Jamie Brett, William Cleere, Cathal Foley.
Our first team will be in action again on Sunday 28th June when they play Killenaule in Anner Park Cloneen at 12.00.
On this Saturday evening our second under 12 hurling team travel to Cahir where they play Cahir at 7.00. This team will also be in action on Tuesday next 23rd June when they play Carrick Davins at 7.00pm in Anner Park Cloneen. On Sunday 28th June they will travel to Clonmel Sportsfield for a 12.00 throw in against St. Marys.
Under 8 Football Danagher Cup
On Sunday last our under 8 footballers took part in the Danagher Cup in Fethard. In the first game they had to field an under strength team and were defeated by Clonmel Commercials. In the remaining games they defeated Killenaule and Mullinahone. The team was: Seán Fitzgerald, Mike O’Dwyer, Cormac Duggan, Charlie Noonan, Michael Cuddihy, Oran Gahan, Cathal Keane, Michael Hayden, Joey Fitzgerald, Sam O’Brien, Harry Barton, Eoin Morrissey, Tom Lee, Brendan O’Brien, Tom Ryan, Nathan Gleeson.
South Tipperary under 16 Football Final
Our under 16 footballers will play the South Final on this Thursday 18th June in Clonmel Sportsfield at 7.00pm against either Grangemockler-Ballyneale or Newcastle- Ballyporeen.
