20th Anniversary; The Club will hold a night to Honour the two teams from 1993 (Minor and Senior) who won the Championship. This night will be held on Sat 21st September. Contact the Secretary (087/6606035) for more details.

Football; The Senior Team play Monasterevin on Sunday at12.00 in St. Conleths Park in Rd 3 of the Championship. Well done to the U16B team who beat Moorefield in the Final of the Championship on Friday23rd in Hawkfield. Hard Luck to the Senior B team and the Management who lost out to Celbridge on Monday 26th in the Semi-Final. Best of Luck to the C Team who play in the Championship Semi-Final Tonight, Venue; Round Towers, Time; 19.00 (Note change of time).
Ladies Football; Best of luck to the Ladies Senior Team who play the first round of the Championship tonight. Venue; Ballykelly, V Ballykelly at 19.30. Sarsfields Ladies Football section are now inviting applications for the posts of managers of the ladies football U15, U13 & U11 teams for the upcoming Autumn leagues. The U15 league is scheduled to begin on August 31st, no dates have been set for the start of the U13 or U11 leagues but it is expected that they will commence in September. All management teams must contain at least one female mentor to order to comply with the LGFA code of ethics. Skills Academy; The Dermot Earley Skills Academy is now in full swing on Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Times are as follows: 09.00 – 10.30 boys u8, u9, u10. 10.30 – 11.15 Girls u9, u10. 11.15 – 12.45 Boys u5, u6, u7, girls u5-u8. Looking forward to meeting new Members.
The Club Shop; The shop is open every Saturday morning. It is well stocked out with all types of gear both casual and Training. Gum Shields are now available priced at €6
National gathering; This year as part of the national Gathering, Sarsfields will be inviting Sarsfields people and Newbridge people in general who are abroad, home for a weekend provisionally pencilled in for the weekend of the All-Ireland football final in September. There will be a committee set up Later in the Year to plan the event.
