The Club wishes Pat and all the boys the very best of luck as they head for Derry on Friday Morning Coming. The Team will depart from the Club at 8am for the long Journey north where they will hit the ground running as they play their first match on Friday evening.

Annual Golf Outing; Sarsfields will hold their Annual Golf Outing on Saturday 20th July in Newbridge Golf Club. All Golfers are welcome and for further Info contact Mick Ward (086/4034439)
Function Rooms; There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Celene (087/8336833) Christy (087/9249884)
Football; The Senior Team lost out to Confey in Rd 11 of the League on Sun 23rd to a scoreline of 3-15 to 2-10. The Senior B team had a great win in the League Final over Celbridge in Hawlkfield on Monday Night. It was a close fought encounter with very little between the sides until a Dean Domnican Goal in the last 5 min to seal the victory for The Sash. The Feile team had a good win over the Moores in the U/14 Lge Semi final last Sunday. They will now play the final on Sat 6th July.
Family Fun Day; The Club would like to thank all who helped to organise and run the Family Fun Day. Also to everyone who supported the event and made it a great success.
Skills Academy The Dermot Earley Skills Academy is now in full swing on Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Times are as follows: 09.00 – 10.30 boys u8, u9, u10. 10.30 – 11.15 Girls u9, u10. 11.15 – 12.45 Boys u5, u6, u7, girls u5-u8. Looking forward to meeting new members.
The Club Shop The shop is open every Saturday morning. It is well stocked out with all types of gear both casual and Training. Gum Shields are now available priced at €6
National gathering This year as part of the national Gathering, Sarsfields will be inviting Sarsfields people and Newbridge people in general who are abroad, home for a weekend provisionally pencilled in for the weekend of the All-Ireland football final in September. If anyone would like to get involved in the project, offer suggestions or help in any way please contact PRO Seamus McGann on 087/2039726 or at sashproshea@gmail.com. There will be a committee set up Later in the Year to plan the event.
