Football; The Seniors lost out to Athy in the SFL Div 1 on Sat evening in Sarsfields Park to which was a closely contested Match. Sarsfields went in at the break with a two point advantage over the visitors. It was Ray Cahill who done most of the scoring in the first half with some well taken points from both play and frees. The second half proved more difficult for the home side as Athy started to dominate the play mostly from the midfield area of the pitch. with about 10 min left on the clock Athy got a goal from a long ball in to the square and followed up with 2 points to leave the Sash with an uphill battle. The final whistle saw Athy win out by 2 points.

The Minors recorded a good victory on Sun morn in their League Semi Final over Athy. The Sash got off to a good start and were controlling the game well and at the half way point in the first half were 1-04 to 0-03 to the good. Early in the second half saw the home side go down to 14 and the pattern of the game started to change. The visitors started to get on top and were coming forward looking for that decisive goal. The defence stood strong with a great display from full back Tom Aspell and Centre half back Diarmuid Hartley Kept the visitors at bay and tha Sash came out on top with a score line of 1-10 to0-10

The Club will host the band The Classic Beatles on Sunday 2nd June in the big hall starting at 8. This promises to be a great night and if you haven’t seen this Band before they come highly recommended. Tickets are €10 and can be got off Christy Horan(087/9249884)

Feile Quiz: On Friday 14th of June there will be a table quiz held in the club in order to raise funds for the U/14 Team who are traveling up to Derry to represent The Club and County in the Feile Finals on the 28th of June. our Support is badly needed so come along and have a bit of Craic on the night. Table of 4 is €40.

Annual Mass: The Annual Mass for deceased Members will be held o the5th of June at 8 in the Club. All Members are welcome to attend.
