FootballThe Seniors had a good win in the League with a win over The Moores. It wasRobbie Confrey with a Hatrick of goals and his last one been the last kick ofthe game that sealed the Victory for the Sash.

The U/16 Boys play in the League 1 Final against Clane on Bank holiday Monday. The Match is on in the County Grounds and throws in at 12.00, so get down and support your Club. Best of Luck to the Team and Management.

HurlingHurling training has now commenced on Monday Evenings at 7 0 Clock. All newmembers are welcome.

Skills Academy  The DermotEarley Skills Academy has recommenced on Saturday mornings. Times are asfollows: 09.00 – 10.30 boys u8, u9, u10. 10.30 – 11.15 girls u9, u10. 11.15 -12.45 boys u5, u6, u7, girls u5-u8. Looking forward to meeting new members.

Function Rooms The Bar, the Main Hall and the Roseberry Room are all available for Bookings. They are ideal for both big and small occasions, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Funerals etc. To enquire about Bookings Contact Celene on 087/8336833.

PoolTournament The club will host a pooltournament every Thursday night at 9 o clock; Entry fee €5,. On Sunday nights akiller darts tournament will be held starting at 9.45, Entry fee €2.

TheClub Shop The shop isopen every Saturday morning. Gum Shields are now available priced at €6

Membership  It’s that timeof the year again; our Club/GAA membership is now due. You can pay yourmembership in the club any night from 8 to 10pm and on Saturdays from 11to1am.We are all aware that in order to be eligible to play Gaelic games with ouror any club we all must be registered with the GAA. Club membership givesautomatic registration with the GAA, this rule will be strictly enforced in2013. In simple terms this means if we adult & juvenile players do not payour membership we are not eligible to play Gaelic games for the club. Promptpayment of membership helps our club to provide players insurance scheme,lighting, pitches, dressing rooms ,equipment, showers, etc. for all. It is ourclub, it is up to each & every one of us to pay & play our part. Don’tleave it up to a few to subsidise you. National gatheringThis year as part ofthe national Gathering, Sarsfields will be inviting Sarsfields people andNewbridge people in general who are abroad, home for a weekend provisionallypencilled in for the weekend of the All-Ireland football final in September. Ifanyone would like to get involved in the project, offer suggestions or help inany way please contact PRO Seamus McGann on 087/2039726 or atsashproshea@gmail.com. There will be a committee set up Later in the Year toplan the event.
