Condolences.  Sarsfields GAA send their condolences to the Farrell Family on the recent death of Mary Farrell. Mary sadly lost her life in a road traffic accident over last weekend. Marys Son Niall, his Wife Karen and 3 children are heavily involved in Sarsfields GAA. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this difficult time.

Ar deis de go raibh a hAnam

Stars in your Eyes.  The fundraising/events committee are running"Stars in your eyes" in the clubhouse on Saturday 24th of October. Acts include: Abba, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Meatloaf and Cher, The Village People, Robbie Williams, the Blues Brothers, The Weather Girls, Grease, Freddie Mercury, The Spice Girls and Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. PLUS a MAJOR Surprise Act on the night.

Tickets will be on sale very soon at the very reasonable price of 10euro  and will be available from any member of the fundraising committee. A great night of fun and entertainment guaranteed……

Well done to the Sarsfields Ladies.  Our Senior Ladies won the final of the A championship last Saturday evenng in Hawkfield. It was a trilling gameoffootball which had to be deciced by extra time where the fitness of the Sarsfields Ladies came to the fore as they kicked on and won by 6 points. A great achievement from the Team and Management.


Best Wishes.  The club sends its best wishes to Kevin (Keggy) Brennan who is in Hospital at the Minute after a recent Fall. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Club Night out.  In relation to our upcoming Dinner Dance, we wish to announce that the event will be postponed until early New Year '16 and are pleased to say it will take place in our Clubhouse.

Championship Update  Well done to the senior team who have advanced to the Final of the Senior Championship for the fourth year in a row. They will now face Athy in the final and that will be played on Sunday 18th October. Sarsfields Club Car Draw 2015.  The club would like to thank all who supported the car Draw over the last 4 months. Also well done to those who were lucky enough to win a prize.


Dermot Earley Academy.  Our underage academy is still running on the Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Through the course of the year there will be 35 action packed weekends of fun and

Room for Rent.  Sarsfields GAA have a room available in the club for rent. Suitable for many types of business and also is kitted out with numerous power points and internet connection. For further information contact club Secretary on 087/6606035


Club Shop The club shop is stocking a large range of casual and training gear for all ages. The shop will be open on sat mornings from 9am and for any more Information  you can contact Angie on 086/0762710


Looking for old Photos and old Club Records  The Club are looking to build on its already large collection of photos and especially with some older Photos of teams or individuals. Also we are trying to put together as much Records as is possible from days gone by ie. AGM Reports, secretary reports, match reports and any match Programes. Any material that is given to the club will be given back in the same order. Second Hand Clothes Collection The club is still collecting second hand clothes and you can hand in your clothes in the morning or the evening when the club is open. For further info you can contact Christy on 087/9249884


Function Rooms There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Shirley (086/8568830)


Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the Lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw. This can now be done by going on to the Sarsfields web site and clicking on the (play lotto now) link, then follow the step by step instructions. Tickets can also be purchased from behind the club bar.
