Pay Your Membership before March 31stSincere thanks to Club member Paul Keeley for organising sponsorship from Choice Hotels. Choice Hotels are generously sponsoring our draw offering a weekend away for 2 people in a choice of the, Clarion Hotel, Cork, Clarion Hotel, Limerick or Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley. To enter the draw, all you need do is FULLY PAY your 2015 Club membership by 31 March 2015. All fully paid up registered members (confirmed by Club Registrar Kathleen Ryan) by 31 March 2015 will be entered into the draw and the lucky person will be drawn over the Easter weekend. Now there's an incentive!

Final Reminder.  Membership must be paid in full by Tuesday March 31st in order to be

  • entered for the Weekend Away membership draw

  • registered with Croke Park for player insurance

  • eligible to vote in the AGM in November

Membership can be paid in the clubhouse on Sunday March 29th from 8-9pm, Monday March 30th from 8-10pm and Tuesday March 31st from 8-9pm.

Annual Table Quiz Holy Thursday.   Sarsfields GAA will be holding the Annual Holy Thursday Table quiz on the 2nd of April. This as always is an important fundraiser for the club and does be a great night of Craic. It is important that it is well supported by all Members of the club and as usual all are welcome to the Quiz. we will have a raffle on the night which promises to have some great prizes and also the draw will be made for the winner of the weekend away for those who have paid their membership before the end of March. The quiz will aim to start about 8.30 in the main hall.

Music on Easter Sunday Night On Sunday night coming therewill be live music in the Bar in the form of the Rubbers. As usual the boys will put up a great show and it always promises to be a great night out. So why not come out on the night to the club and as always all are welcome.


Dermot Earley Academy.  Our underage academy is now back in full swing on the Saturday mornings and all new members are welcome. Through the course of the year there will be 35 action packed weeks of fun and

Football  Well done to the senior team who Beat Clane on Sunday gone. Ladies Football  Well done to Roisin Byrne, Molly Price and Shauna Kendrick who played for Kildare on Sunday v Down. Roisin scored 2-04, Molly made her debut and Shauna scored a point. The senior Ladies start their campaign on Tuesday 31st.


Room for rent.  Sarsfields GAA have a room available in the club for rent. Suitable for many types of business and also is kitted out with numerous power points and internet connection. For further information contact club Secretary on 087/6606035


Used Football & Hurling Gear As the club Equipment officer it is my aim to raise funds whenever possible, to ease the cost on the club on buying training equipment. Over the next few weeks I will be trying to collect as much gear as possible and then sell it for a small fee on a Saturday morn at the Academy. What we need, Boots (all sizes), Helmets, any O’Neills gear, Jerseys, Hoodies etc. Any Monies made from this will be used to buy training gear for the club. I will start to collect on Saturday morn coming 29th Mar, so if you are attending the Academy or you can call in with some used gear please leave it in the shop. Club Shop The club shop is stocking a large range of casual and training gear for all ages. The shop will be open on sat mornings from 9am and for any more Information  you can contact Angie on 086/0762710


Looking for old Photos and old Club Records  The Club are looking to build on its already large collection of photos and especially with some older Photos of teams or individuals. Also we are trying to put together as much Records as is possible from days gone by ie. AGM Reports, secretary reports, match reports and any match Programes. Any material that is given to the club will be given back in the same order. Second Hand Clothes Collection The club is still collecting second hand clothes and you can hand in your clothes in the morning or the evening when the club is open. For further info you can contact Christy on 087/9249884


Function Rooms There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Shirley (086/8568830)


Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the Lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw.
