Condolences    Sarsfields GAA send their condolences to the Griffin family on the recent death of Jack Grifin. Jack was coach to the Senior Football team from 01-04. The club extends its deepest sympathies at this tragic time.

Also to the Conlon Family on the recent death of Fergal Conlon. Fergal played Football for Sarsfields and his Family have been long time supporters of Sarsfields GAA.

Stars in your Eyes.  The fundraising committee organised "Stars in your eyes" in the clubhouse on Saturday 24th of October. The Acts include: Abba, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Meatloaf and Cher, The Village People, Robbie Williams, the Blues Brothers, The Weather Girls, Grease, Freddie Mercury, The Spice Girls and Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. The night was a great successand the Chairman would like to thank  Brid Howey and all the committee for their hard work in organising the event.

Hard luck to the Seniors.  A great performance from the Seniors in the Quarter Final of the Leinster Club Championship was to see them fall short by 1 point to laois Champions Portlaoise. The effort from the team on the day was enormous from start to finish. Overall it was a great year and the club would like to thank the team and the management for their commitment throughout the year.

Dermot Earley Academy.  Our underage academy has finished up now until march 2016 and once again was a great success. The club would like to thank Mick Byrne and all who work throughout the summer months to make sarsfields a successful club on the field of play. The academy finished up with a haloween Party which the kids enjoyed immensely.   

Room for Rent.  Sarsfields GAA have a room available in the club for rent. Suitable for many types of business and also is kitted out with numerous power points and internet connection. For further information contact club Secretary on 087/6606035

 

Club Shop The club shop is stocking a large range of casual and training gear for all ages. The shop will be open on sat mornings from 9am and for any more Information  you can contact Angie on 086/0762710. Shortly we will be taking orders for Christmas gifts so keep an eye on social media for our range of stock.

Looking for old Photos and old Club Records  The Club are looking to build on its already large collection of photos and especially with some older Photos of teams or individuals. Also we are trying to put together as much Records as is possible from days gone by ie. AGM Reports, secretary reports, match reports and any match Programes. Any material that is given to the club will be given back in the same order. Second Hand Clothes Collection The club is still collecting second hand clothes and you can hand in your clothes in the morning or the evening when the club is open. For further info you can contact Christy on 087/9249884

 

Function Rooms There are 3 Function Rooms available in the club which can cater for big and small Functions, Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals, etc. Enquiries to Shirley (086/8568830)

 

Club Lotto The club would like to thank all those who support the Lotto and would like to encourage all its members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw. This can now be done by going on to the Sarsfields web site and clicking on the (play lotto now) link, then follow the step by step instructions. Tickets can also be purchased from behind the club bar.
