Christmas Wishes; On behalf of the Chairman and the club Executive, we wish all our Members at home and abroad a Happy Christmas and a prosperous new Year, and to thank all those who gave a hand out throughout the year.
Upcoming Charity Event; This upcoming event is in aid of Temple Street Hospital and been organised by Tara Scully. We are planning a Christmas Fun Day in Sarsfields which is on in the Club on Saturday 21st December. Starting at 2 there will be a kids Party that will run until 6 and will include A Santa visit, face painting, kids games, Christmas bakery, Carol singing and much more. From 6 onwards there will be Live Music in the Bar along with a MR. And Mrs Competition, a Best Christmas jumper competion, a raffle and much more. At 9 O Clock it will be the Sarsfields Calender launch with special guests and Sponsors, Calendars can be bought for €10 throughout the event This is also a night out for the Club volunteers who give their time throughout the year. On the night all pints will be €3, and a bottle of wine will be €10. Dont miss what promises to be a great Day and evening in the Club, so come out and support the event. Congratulations The Club wishes to congratulate Paul Doyle on his recent appointment as manager of Allenwood. Also to Tommy Gorman on his appointment as manager of Monasterevin.
Membership 2014 Membership is now been collected for 2014. If you wish to pay you can do so by calling to the Club any Monday or Friday between 8pm and 9.30pm. Also on Saturday from 11am to 1pm. Paying your membership on time is of great importance to the club so we ask all our members to make an effort and pay early. The club would like to thank all its 10 year members and to remind them that it has now expired and new membership can be paid as in the times above.
Trip to Cork A trip to Cork is been organised for the 8th of Feb 2014 for the Kildare V Cork game which is on Sunday 9th Feb. The cost of the trip is €85 and for more details contact Mick Ward 086/4034439
Pitch Maintenance ;An exceptional spend has arisen within the club to complete essential maintenance on the pitches which must be completed in the next 6 weeks. In order to fund this exceptional expense the Executive has decided to seek a minimum of €5 per Membership. All club members are invited to support this essential repair work . Payment can be made to any member of the club Executive or left behind the bar in an envelope marked Pitch Fund and your Name.
