Scór na nÓg

It was a great occasion in Athlone on Saturday last and our five girls gave of their very best on stage. They gave their best performance yet but all four groups were excellent. We didn’t win but it certainly was difficult to pick a winner on the day. Four of the girls are still underage in 2009 and we have no doubt they will be there or thereabouts again this time next year. Well done to Lauren McGrory, Ciara Martin, Ciara O’Dowd, Katie Duignan and Aisling Duignan and of course also to their tutors, Ann Gallogly and Gerrada Burns.
Scór Sinsear
It is less than two weeks to Scór Sinsear and it is looking good from the point of view of participation.
Minor League
Last Sunday’s minor game was called off because of fog. At 12.00 there was very bad fog and you could not see thirty yards away. We play Carrigallen in Carrigallen on this coming Sunday at 12.00.
