Sean Flanagan Cup tournament/Brian Keane Benefit

 

Mayo Gaels beat Balla in the Sean Flanagan Cup semi final 1-15 to 0-4 points. The Gaels now take on Burrishoole in the final which will take place on Sunday next, February 19th at 3pm. Mayo Gaels U-14s will take on Burrishoole as a curtain raiser at 1:45pm. As always the proceeds of this tournament will be donated to a good cause. This year all funds raised will be donated to the Brian Keane Benefit Fund. Brian, who was from Newport but was living in the parish of Mayo Abbey, tragically died in a car accident last November. Your support would be greatly appreciated for this very worthy cause. If you cannot make the tournament tickets are currently on sale for a benefit night for Brian’s family which will take place on March 18th in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport.
