Locallotto.ie

We have a new feature on the locallotto.ie system that will help Sean Treacy’s raise funds more consistently.  This is a recurring payment feature it has two components:

1. It will allow our supporters to simply click a button while they are buying a lotto ticket and in doing so, the lotto ticket will automatically renew at the end of the chosen period – essentially an electronic direct debit scheme.

2. A new report will now appear in our club administration panel.  This new report will give us full details on the status of all of the play slips where our supporters have chosen the auto renew option.

Intermediate Hurling

We played our second game of the Intermediate league on Sunday last against Ballina in the Cross. Conditions were very excellent on the day and suited the game of hurling. There was nothing in this game from start to finish which resulted in a draw. Ballina missed some easy opportunities throughout but having said that were gifted with an easy goal in the first half .The Treacys also missed some goal opportunities with the Ballina goalkeeper saving two good shots from Paul Shanahan and Ollie Carr from point blank range. Once again there are positives and negatives to take from this game and with everyone putting in the effort at training many of the negatives can be eradicated. Congratulations to Sean Hickey who made his competitive debut playing the whole game, scoring two fine points which capped off a man of the match performance. Training is held during the week with all players expected to attend. The team that lined out on the day was: Seamus Butler Liam Nolan Joey Ryan Dermot Ryan Simon Kennedy Tom Hickey Pat Hickey  Jamie O Toole Ger O Toole Sean Kennedy Ollie Carr Sean Hickey Joey Ryan(R) Paul Shanahan John Butler. Subs Introduced: Tom Keane Paudie Carey Sean Quigley.

Best of Luck

The club wishes Declan Hickey the very best of luck on his work related travels to Norway and Germany and hope that we can have him back in time for the first round of the west championship.
