U21 Football

Our game at Kilcommon against Emly/Solohead was called off due to the weather and is expected to be refixed for Sunday the 28th February. All panel members are expected to attend training.

Blast from the past

After the U21 Football County final win in 1999 we turned our attention to Junior A Hurling winning two West’s in a row in 2000 and 2001 being very unlucky not to pull off the County in 01 but further success was soon to come

Wednesday from 6 30pm to 7 30pm for our under 8s

Friday from 7 00pm to 8 00pm for our under 10s.

All parents are welcome. Indeed, the coaches would love to see the parents fully involved in session.

Michael Ryan (Tipperary selector) presented  medals to last year’s winners on Sunday the 21st of February at 5pm., Medals were presented to 2009 winners of the under 12 hurling and to our under 16 footballers.  A special reward was presented to Seanie Ryan for winning a Tony Forrestal all Ireland under 14 medals with Tipperary.  Seanie shared this honour with two other Treacy players namely   Liam Nolan and Eamon Ryan.

A bag packing fundraiser will take places at Dunne Stores in Thurles on Thursday the 25th, on Friday the 26th and on Saturday 27th of February.  Sean Treacy’s juvenile club needs volunteers to collect at each checkout on each day.  We urge all parents to get in contact with the following committee members: Rearcross: John Carey at 086-3139644, Noel McMahon Kilcommon at 086-68593624 and Bridget Ryan, Hollyford at 062-77112.  This will enable the committee to schedule this event.  Bag packing will be our major fundraiser for the year.  We urge you to give your time.
