Sevens All-Ireland

Well done to our seven aside team who won the Junior All-Ireland Shield final at the Kilmacud Crokes Sevens competition. Great composure and flair was shown by this squad to bring home the honour to our club.

Website
Seamus Costello Milestone Mortgages 087 9256792 heads the development of the all new Treacy website. One will be able to access a brief history of the club, results, recent photos etc.  We would welcome any companies or sole traders to place an ad on the soon to be launched site. These are available at a special rate of €100 main page (limited number available), €50 for pop up ones and €25 for a link and will not need to be renewed until Jan 1st 2010. So contact Seamus for the last few advertisements at the number above.

Fundraising
Our lotto was won at the last Lotto Draw on 31/08/2009 and the delighted winner of €11,400 was Tommy Hickey.   He picked the winning combination 5 12 15 19 which was sold by local promoter Billy O’Toole. We need all players to try to sell a book of ten tickets every week.
Our Marathon runners are training hard as Sean Kennedy Rearcross, Seamus Carey Kilcommon, Eamon Ryan Hollyford and James Nolan continue their preparations for The Dublin City Marathon later this year. Please support this good cause being run in conjunction with Milford Hospice and sponsorship cards are available in all local shop, pubs, from the committee and many club members.

Membership

We would like to thank all players and supporters those who paid their membership fee to the club this year. Ger O’Toole built on the work done by John McHugh his predecessor and we encourage you to use the membership discount scheme to your advantage
