Our Senior Footballers will compete in Division 2A of the league next season. Senior Championship status was retained earlier in the season, but despite our best efforts we went down by a single point in our final league game last weekend to Kilkerrin Clonberne in a keenly fought encounter.
Our league performances this year have mixed some excellent performances with some poor displays. Bottom line is we failed to win games where we had been in front but did not close out the game. Looking forward to next season we will continue to rebuild our team which has suffered through emigration, injuries and retirements. We have some good and exciting talent which allied to our established seniors bodes well for the future.
At the time of writing no definite fixture has been made for the Junior B County Final, but we hope to have definite news in our next bulletin.
