SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP:
Kilmoyley advance to the semi-final of the A.I.B County Senior Hurling Championship when they had six points to spare over a youthful Crotta side at Austin Stack Park, on Saturday evening, 14th August In Round 3 on 1–20 to 2–11 final score line. The sides were level at half time Crotta 1–06 to 0–09. Crotta scorers were Shane Nolan 2–09 and Andrew Keane 0–02, The lads in Green and Red have another opportunity in Round 3, In the other games of Senior hurling championship, Ballyheigue and Lixnaw finished level 1–17 to 0–20 after extra time
Causeway advanced to the 3rd round with a victory over Abbeydorney on the score 1–15 to 0–8, while Ballyduff defeated St Brendan’s 3–11 to 2–9.
