Senior Ladies are County Champions

The Ladies Senior Final pitted fierce rivals Edenderry and Rhode head to head. Rhode dominated the opening quarter-hour of the game and opened up a 1-5 to 0-2 lead but Edenderry responded well and by half-time thanks to a brace of goals had opened up a 2-4 to 1-5 lead.

In the second-half it was all one way traffic and entering the final minutes had opened up a 3-9 to 1-6 lead. Rhode did add two late points but Edenderry finished the game off in style with a goal from Sinead Taylor to round off the win and earn Edenderry their first ever senior title.
