Seniors get back to winning ways

Edenderry 3-17 Erin Rovers 1-08
Edenderry got their SFC campaign back on track with a comprehensive defeat of Erin Rovers in O’Connor Park on Saturday evening.
In a must win game for both sides it was clear early on that Edenderry were in total control of this game and they led 2-06 to 0-05 at half time having played against a strong wind. The first half goals were scored by Mark Young & Keith McGuinness.
In the second half the small crowd in attendance were treated to an exhibition of point scoring from Sean Doyle who also grabbed a late goal as he finished with a personal tally of 1-07.
Edenderry improved their score difference in the group as they ran out 3-17 to 1-08 winners.
