SFL Div 2: Ballinabranna 1-16 Clonmore 1-9

November 8, 2018

This was a close fought affair until a late scoring burst of 1-2 in the last five minutes gave Ballinabranna a rather flattering win.   An excellent 15 minute goal by Niall Humphries gave Clonmore a 1-4 to 0-6 lead but the point scoring ability of Gary Dunne and David Cox gave Ballinabranna a half time lead of 0-10 to 1-5. There was very little between the teams in the second half and there was only a point in it on 52 minutes (0-13 to 1-9) before a 58th minute goal ensured the points stayed at home.
