The lads dominated the first half and should have been more than 0-7 to 0-2 ahead at half-time. Myshall came out all guns blazing in the second half and by the 50th minute had taken a 0-9 to 0-8 lead. From there to the end it was point for point with Larry Doyle kicking a great long range score and a Gavin Byrne free leveling the game at 0-10 apiece on 56 mins. A number of determined Clonmore attacks yielded chances to get a winner but none were taken and with time just up, Myshall broke away and drew a 20 metre free to give them victory by the narrowest of margins.
