The Intermediates suffered their first defeat of the League when going down to an impressive O'Hanrahans team on a wet night in Woodside on Friday.
In the first half the Blues were on top in all areas of the pitch, especially midfield, and they attacked with lightening speed to blitz Clonmore with a series of points from all angles. The Blues goal came on 20 minutes putting them 1-8 to 0-1 ahead and effectively ending the game as a contest.
The Clonmore lads can take heart from their second half performance as they upped their game considerably and won the half by 0-8 to 0-4 but the damage was done in the first half.
