Clonmore’s Intermediates started the new season in style on Sunday with a convincing 0-20 to 0-5 win away to Leighlinbridge in SFL Division 2. With a few regulars missing, the selectors took the opportunity to blood several youngsters. The young team played some good combination football to score a series of fine points and, after leading by 0-10 to 0-2 at half-time, ran out comfortable winners in the end.
