SFL Div 2: Eire Og 1-19 Clonmore 0-12

November 8, 2018

The Intermediates suffered a rare league defeat away to Eire Og on Friday evening.

The first half was close with only a point between the teams at half-time: 0-8 to 0-7. However Clonmore were missing a number of players through injury and unavailability and the fitter Eire Og team pulled away in the second half. On a positive note, the lads battled gamely throughout and a number of young players gained good experience which will stand to them in the future. Youngsters Dale McNamara and Jordan Kane made their competitive debuts for the Intermediates and Dale scored a cracking point from wide on the right wing.
