The Intermediates came out on top by 3 points in this hard fought encounter on Sunday evening in Rathoe. Goals by Con Murphy and Paddy Gahan, along with some lovely points by Colly McGrath helped us to a 9 point lead at half time – 2-9 Cocks 0-6.The Cocks came out all guns blazing in the second half scoring 2-2 early to leave just a goal between the sides. Further points by Con and a Niall Humphries goal were the final scores in a game that will stand to the lads, as we now entertain Ballinabranna in a "must win" game on Tuesday, 31 May, in Woodside at 8pm.
