SFL Div 4: Clonmore 0-14 Ballinabranna 0-8

November 8, 2018

Clonmore Juniors came out on top in this important SFL 4 game in Woodside on Wednesday night. Brian Kelly started the ball rolling with a neat point in the 4th minute and Conor McCarney added a nice brace of points to leave us level at 3 points a piece by the 15th minute. Further points by Darren McGrath, J P Doyle, John McGrath and Dale McNamara had Clonmore ahead at the interval by 7 points to 5.

Clonmore took control early in the 2nd half and some very good points by Jordan Kane, Conor McCarney, John McGrath and Clive Lambe took us over the finishing line on a scoreline of 14 points to 8 points. All roads now lead the Juniors to Palatine next Wednesday night for a very important game as we are level on points with Pal with one match to go. A win for Clonmore should put us into the semi-finals.
