Clonmore Juniors lost their first match in Division 4 when they had to field a depleted team away to Naomh Eoin last Wednesday evening. Only 14 players made the journey to Myshall and selector Stephen Byrne stepped in to fill the full forward position. Nevertheless Clonmore played well and could easily have won the game but they conceded a soft goal in each half and were always fighting an uphill battle. Well done to all the lads who turned up on the night. Best for Clonmore were Colin Doyle, Clive Lambe, Collie McGrath, Willie Byrne and Shane McGrath.
