Clonmore were on top early on but conceded a sloppy goal and went in 1-6 to 0-6 behind at half-time. The introduction of Darren McGrath at half-time changed things and three points from Darren, a haul of 5 points from John McGrath, two each from Collie McGrath and JP Doyle and a goal from Clive Lambe gave us a narrow but well deserved one point win.
Clonmore are now top of Division 5 with 10 points followed by The Fighting Cocks and Tullow both on 9 – the Cocks beat Tullow last night by 3-14 to 0-4.
