The Juniors were full value for this victory in Woodside on Thursday night. Fielding without several regulars, the Selectors were forced to call up a number of "youngsters" to make up the 15, namely Johnny Maguire, Brendan Ryan, Dinny Quigley and Michael "Herbie" Strahan, who were only in the field to watch a girl's match! The four lads proceeded to roll back the years and the team produced a super gutsy performance to record a memorable win over one of the top teams in the Division. Well done to all 15 players, especially Johnny, Brendan, Dinny and Herbie, and the Selectors.
