A chairde,
Our golf am-am was a great success last weekend with over 30 teams taking part. Thanks again to Mark Gibbs for organising again this year and we hope everyone had a great day and night. Thanks again to all participants and sponsors from this year. Your support is very much appreciated.
Thanks to Pitch Director John Donohue who oversaw the replacement of the ball-stop nets in the Prairie. Fantastic new ones were installed last week and are a welcome addition.

It will be their last league game until October so please come down and support the lads. Congrats to Ruairi, Evan, Sean and the Galway seniors who recorded a historic win over Kerry in the Super 8s at the weekend, beating The Kingdom for the first time in 53 years in the championship and reconding their first championship win in Croke Park since 2001. It's Newbridge or nowhere this Sunday for the second round vs Kildare.

Hard luck to the Junior As who were beaten by St. Michaels in their last league game last Thursday evening.

Congrats the our county minors Eoghan, Cathal and Aidan who helped Galway clinch their fourth Connacht Minor Title in a row, beating Roscommon last Friday evening in Dr. Hyde Park. Some great results on the pitch in past week or two well done to all players and coaches.
U10s played Annaghdown away last Saturday. We fielded three team which was a great turnout and won every game. This was a great opportunity for the kids to put into practice all the training they have been doing and the results was a good indication of their progress. Training will continue during the summer and more games on the way.
Our U11s/12 continue to train Saturday mornings In Priarie with Liam Sammon giving excellent coaching last week.
U12/ U13B has a great win over Claregalway winning 1-10 to 2-5.
There was some excellent link play from defence through midfield and into attack.
Great opportunity to build on this experience and push on.
Players are showing benefit of the hard work they have been putting in over the last few months.
U13B had a big win over Corofin last night, 10-16 to 01-06. Some really nice football played by the guys and used the opportunity to practice good teamwork.
Return match away to Corofin will be next week.
The U13A team played Clifden in the league last Saturday and had an impressive win, scoring 6-13 in total. Next up is St Michael’s on Friday evening in Westside.
The u14a footballers beat Moycullen away last Friday evening on a scoreline of 4-13 to 3-4. It was the last round before the quarter finals. The lads have steadily improved throughout the championship, and particularly when under pressure from opposing teams in the second half, which Moycullen did last week. We await the other fixture results to decide our next opponents. Having only lost one match in 7 (2 draws) means we have a great chance of making the top 4 (A Championship quarters), which will be played mid-late August.
U16's played last championship game last night v Micheal Breathnachs
Won well 4-18 to 2-7. That leaves us unbeaten over the seven games. Knock out Quarter final against a North board team in late August early September.
Galway v Monaghan in Pearse Stadium sat Aug 4th in huge game for Galway football- SK juvenile football looking to get big support together for this game with all teams to try and get players to attend more details next week.
