Ladies Football

Best wishes to our two u14 County Players Emma Madden and Laura Kelly who take on Kerry in the All Ireland Final this Saturday the 1st of July at 1:30pm in McDonagh Park, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. The club is very proud of what both girls have achieved so far this year in both the maroon and white of galway and also the blue, navy and yellow of SKGAA. Well done girls!

Junior –  Well done to the Juniors who overcame Micheal Breathnachs in the Shield Final 24th June in Oughterad. Both sides met earlier in the league campaign, MB coming out on top on that occasion. A slow start by SKGAA may have suggested a similiar result with MB going 3 points up to no score inside the first 10 mins. However the SKGAA ladies eventually settled and took control of possession which resulted in some well taken scores. They went into half time 4 points up and never looked back from there. Great performance by all the players on the panel!  Final Score SKGAA 5-12   Micheal Breathnachs 2-08.

u6/u8/u10 – Last day of training today until the end of summer. We are delighted with our progress and looking forward to seeing all our girls back after a good break. Huge thanks to the great coaches who came on board this year.
