Sky Sports in conjunction with the GAA visit Maynooth Education Campus to support the Super Games Centre

November 8, 2018

Sky Sports in conjunction with the GAA visit Maynooth Education Campus to support the Super Games Centre that runs each Friday. This visit saw Kildare star Paddy Brophy meeting the first year boys and girls for Q&A and helping out with their training session after. The Super Games Centre is a ‘play-to-stay’ initiative that encourages boys and girls to keep playing football and hurling/camogie as they transition to secondary school. Through our club coaching and games development role and our GPO, Maynooth GAA have been supporting this training each week with the school.

A huge thanks to Paddy Brophy for giving up his time today. Thanks to Noel Mooney and Johnny Doyle from Kildare GAA for their support with this initiative and also to Mr Dunne, Mr McNulty and Mr Winders and also to Mr Nevin. Hopefully the work Maynooth GAA is doing in the schools in our community will help to build a stronger club in the future.
