St Judes Club Notes

Very busy and important week for the club. A big well done to our U14 camogie team who came so close to reaching the semi final of the All Ireland Feile in Galway last weekend.They lost to eventual winners Cahir by the narrowest of margins. Well done girls, you did us proud .Sincere thanks to Salthill/Knocknacarra who were fantastic hosts. This same group of girls now travel to Cork this week for the All Ireland Football Feile which begins on Thursday.We wish them the very best. Pride of place this week goes to our U13 boys hurling team who won Div.2 of the P.J Troy tournament in Fingallians.. Well done to the Team, manager Nigel Bolger and mentors Tom Mulligan,Sean O’Shea and Gerry Carty. St Judes Academy hosted an end of season blitz in the club on Saturday with over 100 children participating. Sincere thanks to Ciaran Farrelly, Joe McDonnell and all who orgainsed. Medals were presented by Cathaoirleach Declan Doyle on the day. Football Development Week for 13-16 year olds starts Monday July 4th.For more information contact Ciaran at 087 6969945. Senior hurlers had two fine wins in past week against Raheny away and Peregrines home. Senior Footballers play Fingal Ravens at home on Wed. at 7.30pm and Ballyboden away on Saturday at 6.30pm.Intermediates play Round Towers (L) home on Wednesday at 7.30pm and Scoil Ui Chonaill away on Saturday at 6.30pm.Bingo this Wednesday at 8.15pm in Club. Come along and enjoy a great night.Well done to Finbarr Murphy who entered a competition and won 200 litres of Dulux paint for the Club. You will have a busy summer Finbarr!! St Judes Golf Classic will be held on Friday August 12th in Naas Golf Club. Lotto numbers were 8,14.16.30 no winner. One winner match 3 –Gillian O’Callaghan.Next week jackpot €7300.
