What an amazing weekend for Dublin football. Our heartiest congratulations to Kevin Mc Manamon on his superb performance and match winning goal .Very well done Kevin, you have done your family , your club and your county proud .It is a great boost for the club and Dublin football in general and we look forward with anticipation to Kevin and Colm bringing Sam Maguire back to Judes once again .
Hard luck to the Dublin Minors in loosing a very close and hard fought final against Tipperary. The Club hosted the 21st All Ireland Junior Football Sevens sponsored by Bord Gais Energy on Saturday. The Shield was won by Caherislane and the Cup was won by St Judes. Well done to Conor Lehane and the St Judes Team . Our thanks once again to Sean Breheny and the Sevens Committee for all their hard work over the past 6 months. All roads lead to St Margarets on Wednesday night where the Ladies Senior Footballers play Castleknock in the final of the county championship. Throw in is at 8.30pm. Please come along and support. Hurling championship this weekend. Our inters are involved in a relegation battle in Drimnagh against Trinity Gaels on Saturday at 5.30pm.Junior hurlers play Kevins in a group 2 play at 11.00am on Sunday in Tymon and our senior hurlers play Faughs at 2.15pm in Parnell Park on Sunday. Please note, the September Executive Committee meeting is on Wednesday 28th September at 9.15pm . We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Nick Finnerty and Family on the death of his mother Lena . Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam dhilis. Lotto numbers were 2,4, 8,18 . No winner.
