St. Patrick's hosts girls U-10 football blitz.

Our u10 girls played the final round of their county blitz last Saturday the 18th of August in Anner Park Cloneen in glorious sunshine. Moycarkey and Mullinahone were again the visiting teams. We had a total of 19 girls playing and again were able to field two teams. The red team were: Eabha Hogan, Amy O’Connell, Erin O’Brien, Rachel Butler, Robyn Horan, Katie McCormack, Heather Gahan, Isabelle Hayden and Eimear Boland and the blue team players were: Maria Hogan, Dearbhla Morrissey, Eabha Fitzgerald, Sophia Winters, Inez Noonan, Jessica Strappe, Sarah Cranitch, Aisling Boland, Siobhan O’Hanlon and Sadhbh Morrissey. The girls and coaches have thoroughly enjoyed the blitz series and look forward to the county u10 blitz day which is scheduled for Saturday the 22nd of September in Dr. Morris Park in Thurles. A huge thanks to Pat Morrissey and Siobhan Vaughan who officated as referees for the morning and also our thanks to all parents who helped out with the refreshments and the putting away of equipment

The u10 and u12 coaches are hoping to run a u10 and u12 combined parish league, which will run over four weekends. The exact details will be finalised soon.
