St. Patrick's Ladies GAA Club notes

Congratulations and well done to our under 16 player Olivia Noonan, who lined out for Rockwell College team that qualified for the Munster senior D ladies football final for the second year in a row beating Meanscoil Ring, 2-9 to 1-4. Best of luck Olivia in the Munster final from everyone in St. Patrick's Ladies GAA Club!
 
St Patrick's Ladies committee acknowledged the achievements of two of our juvenile players last Friday night, on winning All Ireland medals last season. Niamh Keane with the under 16 county team and Eimear Boland with the under 14 county team. Well done girls, everyone at St Patrick's Ladies club are extremely proud of you ! (see attached photo)
 
Under 14 and Under 16 girls training will recommence this Thursday the 19th of January at 7.15pm in Cloneen Hall. Training indoors will be held for the next 4 to 6 weeks, until the weather improves.  New players and previous girls who have played , are welcome to come along and join – contact Helen Hogan, Úna O'Brien or Eamonn Murphy for further details.
 
St. Patrick's Ladies Club are seeking a manager for the Junior Ladies team, for the coming season.  Anyone interested in taking on this role, please contact Siobhan Vaughan or Helen Hogan.
 

Condolences to the McGrath family on the recent death of Micheal Kilburry, Cloneen. Mickey was a true GAA stalward and honorary member  of our men’s club.  Our sympathies to all his family at this time and to his two grand daughters and St. Patrick's Ladies juvenile players Aoibheann (under 14) and Orlaith (under 12). May he rest in peace.
