Under 14’s
Our under 14 girls played their semi-final of the summer league last Wednesday evening in Cloneen against Silvermines. The first half was tight with the St. Patrick’s girls finding it difficult to convert chances. This was down to Silvermines strong defence. St. Patrick’s backs held tight as well, with the midfield doing alot of hard work and running, St. Patrick’s when into half time with the lead.
In the second half, the St. Patrick’s girls pushed on and the forwards got more space and took some good scores, with St. Patrick’s victorious at the final whistle. This was another wonderful team performance with all the girls getting game time and working really hard for each other. Our under 14 girls now have the cup final of the summer league to look forward too – date, opposition and venue not known as yet! A big thank you to Silvermines for giving us a tough game and making the long journey down.

Under 17’s
Our under 17 girls will play Golden this Tuesday (14th) at 7.30pm in the Division Three county under 17 semi final. Best of luck to all the girls taking part and team management of Úna O’Brien, Pat Morrissey and Paula Ryan (first aid).
Junior Ladies
Our junior Ladies team are training hard in advance of their Junior B county semi final, which will be played w/c 20th of August, opposition not known as yet.
