Successful Club Gaeltacht Scholarship Fund Raising Night

Thanks to everyone who cane along supported our fundraising night in the club on Friday 20th June to raise money for scholarships to send some of our younger members to the Gaeltacht to learn our native language. In the region of 500 was raised and this will be distributed to our young students this week.

A special worfd of thanks to the newly formed contemporary Irish traditional group ‘Neádar’ who give their services free on the night and thanks to Ciara Flanagan who organised the night and the draw.

Thanks also to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle and to those who donated so generously in the auction.
