After more than 16 years of the very successful Moycullen GAA Lotto, the Lotto committee launched the option of playing the lotto on-line, at a very successful launch night in Regan’s Bar in Moycullen last weekend.
Regan’s Bar has been the home of the lotto since its inception all that time ago , with the first draws taking place in the Regan household kitchen, and according to the Hurling Club Chairman Kenneth Fox , ‘Its about time we put Jim’s Kitchen into the cloud ! ‘.
The jackpot still stands at the maximum €20,000, with over €6,000 already in the kitty to start off the next jackpot and can be played by logging into www.moycullenlotto.ie
Both the Football and Hurling clubs in the area are in the process of developing a new clubhouse, in conjunction with the Camogie and the Ladies Football teams and the pitch committee. It is hoped that the new online lotto will play a major part in the funding of the facility
It couldn’t be simpler according to the Chairman of the Football Club, Liam Hynes. “You support us and in return you are in with a chance of winning the CLG Máigh Cuilinn Lotto. We encourage all club members and members of the public to play the lotto. CLG Maigh Cuilinn will host the 2014 Comórtas Peil na Gaeltachta and we hope that we can all work together to promote this lotto both at home and abroad. So when you buy a ticket, click the Facebook button to share that fact with your friends worldwide”
