There was a very successful Parish League on Sunday Feb24th in Abbey Park. Our U8’s, U10’s and U12’s played three very entertaining games to keep the large attendance happy on a chilly afternoon. It is very clear that the future of GAA is bright in Mayo Gaels from what we witnessed last Sunday.
This was followed by a Presentation of medals in Mayo Abbey Community Centre by Mayo star, Barry Moran to all our young players. Tea and coffee warmed us up and a big thanks to the guys in the kitchen for the finger-food.
