The Third Tipperary Brigade, Old I.R.A. Commemoration Committee will
remember Seán Treacy and all the members of the Third Tipperary Brigade this
weekend in Kilfeacle, Co. Tipperary.
The annual Mass for the members of the Third Tipperary Brigade IRA –
Volunteers, Cumann na mBan, and Fianna Éireann – will be held on Sunday, 14th
October, in Kilfeacle chapel at 2.15 pm. This will be followed by the
ninety eighth Seán Treacy commemoration in the local cemetery. This year
the oration will be delivered by the distinguished historian, Pádraig Óg Ó
Ruairc who is an authority on the events of a century ago. He is
particularly adept at debunking British propaganda and myths so beloved of
revisionists.
