The U15's eased into the next round of the cup with a comfortable 4-0 away win over Leeds. With goalkeeper Conor Finn away in Dublin, Owen Merchant stepped into the position keeping an excellent clean sheet. Lee Davies opened the scoring for Crosshaven on 20 minutes with an excellent finish. Five minutes later Patrick Cotter doubled the advantage powering home a left foot drive after being teed up by Adam Maye following good work in the middle by Cameron McIndoe & Rory O'Sullivan. Leeds went close before the break with Max Harvey clearing off the line after the home side had struck the post. The first attack of the second half saw Diego Campos virtually seal the win with a neat finish before Cian Herlihy put the icing on the cake with a poachers goal five minutes from time. Special mention this week for Peter Lehane who was outstanding throughout & nearly capped the performance with an individual goal only to be denied by the Leeds keeper.
