The U15's faced Greenwood in drizzly Camden hoping to secure three points to push the team up the table.

Crosshaven welcomed back captain Rory O'Sullivan after a 3 game injury lay off but were without the injured duo of Ethan Berkery-Kelly & Simon Tabb. Once again the team didn't settle well conceding a well taken goal after just 40 seconds. Max Harvey limped off & it took 25 minutes before Crosshaven finally got a hold of the game. A wonderful pass from Christian Byrne sent Diego Campos through on goal & he finished wonderfully across the Greenwood keeper to level the game up. Patrick Cotter had a goal disallowed & another shot brilliantly saved but the scoreline remained 1-1 at the break. The first twenty minutes of the second half was vintage Crosshaven. The team quickly shifted through the gears & Greenwood couldn't live with them. On 40 minutes Zach Murphy teed up Patrick for his first goal of the season. Five minutes later Cotter again pounced this time heading home a Lee Davies cross to make it 3-1. Zach Murphy & Adam Maye both went close before Cameron McIndoe played in Lee Davies who's mazy run ended with a lob to the far corner over the helpless Greenwood keeper. Conor Finn produced a world class save from a free kick to deny the visitors a second but they did manage to secure a consolation in the final minute after being awarded a dubious penalty. Super 3 points with some excellent performances across the park especially second half.
