This year’s race takes place on Saturday 9th September @ 7pm. Race entry is €15 which includes a long sleeve Technical Shirt. (Note: There is no late entry charge on the day and no additional admin charge for booking online. All our entrants pay €15 Only!) This shirt was originally only for the first 200 registered, but given that the event reached this number of registered with nearly a month to go it has been extended to the first 300. Registration:
As well as the Online registration, there will of course be registration on the day and a pre registration day will take place on Saturday, August 26th at Centra, Dromiskin from 2.30pm-5pm.
Race & Course:
This event is fully AAI Approved and chipped and timed, but open to all from the top runners to the casual walker and jogger. But will be espeically attractive to those looking to set a Personal Best Time, as it as flat a road race as you will get anywhere! Amongst those who have already signed up is Shane Healy from the MSB Club in Dublin who represented Ireland at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta in the 1500m.
Apres Run:
There will be refreshments served and presentation in the Joes Community Centre after. Followed by a night’s entertainment in the Joes Club Bar that night. There are also showers available in the club after the race for those who wish to avail.
Prizes:
The Prizes for the top Runners include: Senior Men & Women 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Junior, over 40, over 50 and over 60 1st and 2nd. First club team of 4 men and women. Spot prizes for Random finishers.
