The DFC Trust will launch a new monthly Quiz League in Kennedy’s Bar, Carrick Road on Thursday, 2 February, at 8.30pm. The Quiz League is sponsored by Dealgan Fireplaces.
Quiz nights have been lined up for the first Thursday in each of the next nine months in venues around the town, with the final round to be held in Oriel Park in November.
Each event is an individual general knowledge quiz that can be enjoyed on its own, or you can build up points over the course of the year for a bigger prize.
Seán Cotter, of the DFC Trust, said: “This is a new initiative that we are starting this year as we want to bring the club out more into the community.
“We will begin in Kennedy’s before moving to other venues around the town, on the first Thursday of every month.
“We hope to build up a regular crowd for the quizzes and we would encourage as many Dundalk supporters as possible to organise a team or two.”
Entry is just €20 for a team of four.
Finger food will be served.
